Schlechte Nachrichten für alle die sich auf die Half-Life 2 Modifikation Enterprise Temporal Cold War gefreut haben. Nach drei Jahren Entwicklung und zahlreichen beeindruckenden Meilensteinen wurde nun das Ende verkündet.

Wirklich schade wie wir finden, denn gerade Cpt. Archer und seine Crew hätten dieses Spiel verdient. Wir danken dem Team von TCW für Ihren Enthusiasmus und Ihre Arbeit und wünschen allen weitherin erfolgreiches Vorankommen (was bei der geleisten Qualität außer Frage steht).

Das Besondere am Untergang des Mods:

Die verfügbaren Daten stehen nun frei für jedermann zum Download bereit – auf das andere darauf aufbauen können und etwas sinnvolles damit tun – ganz dem Star Trek Gedanken folgend.

Endlich gibt es Futter für alle die Apetitt haben auf Star Trek Online.

Für den geschlossenen Betatest nimmt Cryptic nun ab sofort Anmeldungen für Star Trek Online entgegen.
Wer also zuerst in die unendlichen Weiten des von vielen Fans ersehnten MMORPG’s eintauchen möchte, der kann sich hier bewerben.

Kürzlich sind mir die genauen Details zum DVD- und Blu-Ray-Release von Star Trek 11 über den Weg gelaufen.
Leider sieht es so aus, als plane man keine erweiterte Fassung, die sicherlich viele Fans erhofft hatten.

Die im Schnittraum geopferten Szenen werden zwar enthalten sein, jedoch nur als extern und separat abspielbare Schnipsel.
Schade eigentlich – es hätten sich sicher einige Abnehmer für eine “komplette” Fassung gefunden.

Das soll nicht heißen, das es niemals einen Recut geben wird – vielleicht überrascht man uns ja mit einer neuen Version, wenn sich alle schon die 0815-Ausgabe zugelegt haben… Wäre schade.
